The newest title from Construction Simulator developer Weltenbauer, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite was originally announced in March 2025. It is scheduled to launch on September 9, with a day-one release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Teases New Missions, Environments, and More

In the lead-up to its release, publisher Astragon Entertainment shared the Firefighting Simulator: Ignite launch trailer, which Game Rant can exclusively reveal. The 100-second video highlights several environments and missions featured in the upcoming firefighting sim, along with gameplay segments where players breach doors and walls to enter burning buildings, rescue survivors, and put out raging fires.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite focuses on team operations where up to four players—or a single-player crew with three NPCs—handle multi-step emergencies. Cross-play and integrated voice chat support coordination, with the Oakridge City firehouse acting as a mission hub. The game promises a varied array of scenarios involving trapped civilians, electrical and grease fires, flashovers, backdrafts, and explosions. Rosenbauer America trucks and licensed equipment from Fire-Dex, HAIX, and STIHL round out the immersive sim's authenticity.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Offers a Dalmatian as a Pre-Order Bonus

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is currently available for pre-order across all of its target platforms, priced at $44.99 for the base game. The Year 1 Edition retails for an extra $20. Much like the name suggests, this version promises the entirety of the game's Year 1 Season Pass, which includes two DLC missions, a vehicle pack, and some extra cosmetics, among other novelties. Anyone who pre-orders either edition will receive the Fire Station Companion Pack. The early adopter bonus is headlined by a Dalmatian called Simi, who is added to the player's fire station, a nod to an era when this dog breed was used to escort horses pulling firefighting equipment. The first DLC pack, Summer Camp, is targeting a Q4 2025 release, promising a new environment and missions.

The PC version of the firefighting sim—which will offer comprehensive modding support—will be distributed via both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Long-term, it's possible that Astragon brings its upcoming title to subscription services, as underlined by the recent example of both Firefighting Simulator: The Squad and Police Simulator: Patrol Officers making their way to Xbox Game Pass. However, with those titles only reaching Microsoft's subscription catalog years after launch, it's unlikely that Firefighting Simulator: Ignite will be following suit anytime soon.
